This policy explains how Xinjing handles personal information. We aim to collect only what is needed to provide the service, never use belief-related information for advertising targeting, and never sell personal information.
What we collect
Account details (email, display name, locale), intentions and ritual records you create, offering and order information, memorial content, messages you send us, and limited technical logs needed for security.
Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not store card numbers or PayPal credentials in your account; we store only transaction references, amounts, currencies, and status.
Purposes and bases
We use data to provide rites, intentions, orders, memorial and membership features, process payments and ledger records, handle support and disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Bases include contract performance, your consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.
Sharing and transfers
We may share necessary information with payment, email, hosting, and security providers. They may process it only on our instructions. For cross-border processing we use contractual and security safeguards; recipients and regions will be listed in the deployment configuration.
Retention and security
Account data is kept until you delete your account or the service ends; orders and ledger records are kept as needed for finance, tax, and dispute handling. We use encrypted transport, hashed sessions, access controls, and audit logs, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can export data, delete your account in the account center, or use the contact form to request correction, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or more information. Deleting your account removes personal details and private content, while transaction records retained for legal obligations may remain.
Cookies and advertising
We currently use only cookies necessary for sign-in and security. If analytics or advertising are enabled in the future, they will load only after consent, with a way to refuse or withdraw. Belief data is not used for advertising targeting.
Minors
The service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors and will delete it if discovered.
